When Clube Atlético Mineiro elected Alexandre Kalil as President, the club was in crisis, deep in debt, struggling with poor results, and losing the trust of its fan base. Over the following years, I served as his Special Assistant, helping lead a full communications overhaul.
My work spanned online strategy, media engagement, community management, and presidential communications, supporting Kalil’s mission to transform the club’s perception and performance.
The success of this work laid the foundation for Kalil’s 2017 mayoral campaign in Belo Horizonte, where I contributed remotely with strategic consulting. My experience shaping his early public persona and leading digital efforts during his presidency proved pivotal in positioning him as a credible, people-first leader beyond football.
